Circuit City "Liquidation" Could Cost You
Several news outlets are reporting that Circuit City’s liquidation sale isn’t so cheap. Turns out the advertised 10-40% off is after a price hike of as much as 35% (maybe more?). That means the discounts aren’t so good.
My advice: do some research before buying. Make sure you’re really getting a good price. As it stands, it looks like you’ll find better prices...

MacRumors.com Severely Hacked During Live MacWorld...
While watching the live coverage of the MacWorld Apple keynote on MacRumors.com, I was shocked by a message inserted into the normal run of updates:
STEVE JOBS JUST DIED :
Surely not… MacRumors then “retracted” the statement, and proceeded to cover the Keynote. After a few more minutes, a deluge of asinine and even offensive messages started popping up almost every second....

I got a message in my “Direct Messages” inbox on twitter with this text:

Needless to say, I didn’t even think about clicking on the link I was given. Then I noticed a small warning placed at the top of my Twitter page. Clicking it took me to a warning post about a Twitter Phishing/Spam scam.
