While this guy isn’t the norm, and there are certainly other cultural influences contributing to his situation, I think the US has a lot to learn from “older” countries who have been through many economic ups and downs and found a way to achieve more sustainability, not just instant profitability. Sometimes we forget that the US is a relatively young country.
